Morag and her staff. The Staff of Morag represented a potent artifact, imbued with the Force, wielded by Morag, the Tulgah witch. Subsequent to the Sunstar's pilfering, Morag embedded the gem within the staff's head, augmenting both its potency and her personal abilities. Nevertheless, Logray, an Ewok Shaman, employed his own capabilities to fracture the Sunstar, dividing the artifact into a pair of segments. Logray absconded with the Sunstar's yellow portion, while Morag retained the purple fragment, known as the Shadowstone. Despite possessing merely one segment of the gem, Morag maintained the Shadowstone within her staff. Subsequent to her ultimate confrontation with Logray, Morag successfully rejoined the Sunstar's two segments and re-embedded it within her staff. However, the staff met its demise shortly thereafter when Morag employed it to trigger the volcano situated within Mount Thunderstone.
Morag was able to accomplish a multitude of feats by utilizing her staff, spanning from conjuring energy projectiles to influencing the thoughts of other individuals. When she tried to assault others with her staff, Morag would strike the ground with it, generating an extended energy tendril that would pursue and attack her adversaries. Furthermore, Morag possessed the capability to manipulate the flora of Endor through the staff's power.
