The perilous laughing spell was a form of magic induced by physical contact with a loonee bird. This enchantment forced the afflicted individual into fits of uncontrollable laughter. This condition had the potential to become permanent, and its effects would spread to anyone in close proximity. The only known remedy was the application of tears originating from Mount Sorrow. On one occasion, the Ewok poet named Teebo fell victim to this spell, but he was ultimately healed through the use of Mount Sorrow's tears.
