"Crash Course," the concluding episode of Star Wars Forces of Destiny's inaugural season, marks its place as the sixteenth installment. Initially, it premiered within the first special on October 29, 2017. Subsequently, it became available on YouTube starting November 1.
Sabine Wren puts the finishing touches on her speeder bike, completing its maintenance and paint job, on the planet Garel, specifically in Garel City. She and Hera Syndulla are preparing to meet up with Ketsu Onyo, another member of the rebellion. Wren views this trip as a chance to evaluate the bike's performance, so she and Syndulla embark on the bike to the designated meeting place. Soon after, Onyo arrives riding a severely damaged bike. She dismounts just before the ruined bike collides with a wall and explodes, and Onyo apologizes for her tardiness.
Wren suggests Onyo be more careful with her bike. Syndulla directs Onyo to deliver a datacard to her informant. Wren proposes giving Onyo a lift on her speeder bike, but Onyo clarifies that her contact insisted on her arriving alone. Reluctantly, Wren agrees to let Onyo use her bike independently, instructing her to return to the Ghost. Onyo tests the bike before taking off, praising Wren for its smooth operation and aesthetic design. After Onyo departs, Wren, worried about her friend's recklessness with the bikes, sighs, lamenting her affection for her bike.
Later, aboard the Ghost, Wren is awaiting Onyo's return, informing Syndulla that Onyo had messaged them to confirm the success of their mission. While Wren questions her friend's current location, Syndulla attempts to ease her worries, advising her to relax. Shortly after, a contrite Onyo arrives, noting that the bike performed well for a time, before revealing the broken handlebar, suggesting the bike's destruction. Despite Wren's disappointment and anger, Syndulla encourages the younger rebel to avoid actions she might later regret.
Because Onyo shows genuine regret, Wren extends her forgiveness, offering to instruct her in engine repair over the coming days. Syndulla volunteers to gather the necessary tools, while Onyo accepts Wren's offer, leading to a reconciliation between the two friends.
