Glowbacters Glowbacters represented metal lanterns. These lanterns were utilized by individuals belonging to the Doomed, a Force-sensitive society of Dark Jedi and Jedi. The Doomed had been marooned on the Wild Space world known as Kesh after the Hundred-Year Darkness. Because metal was a scarce resource on Kesh, the lanterns were constructed using materials salvaged from their destroyed starships. In 2974 BBY, Parlan Spinner and Takara Hilts, two Sith, encountered glowbacters when they initially met with the Doomed at the City of the Doomed.
