During the time of the Old Republic era, a notoriously brutal sport called Huttball thrived on Nar Shaddaa. In this game, two teams, chosen at random, battled each other without any restrictions, striving to seize control of the ball and carry it into the other team's territory. Both brutality and deceit were integral parts of Huttball. The renowned Giradda the Hutt sponsored Huttball, placing some of the galaxy's most formidable heroes in a competition where glory and riches hung in the balance.
