Donovian rainmen
A rainman was a type of technician. These individuals were responsible for maintaining the signal towers located above Donovia, a rainy planet. The rainmen, known for wearing special rain hoods, ensured the steady flow of mining traffic both to and from Donovia. A few of them also operated in other places as freighter trampers.
