Malicar 3, a world situated within the Outer Rim Territories, was a planet characterized by its terrain of barren, stony wastelands.
In the year 11 ABY, Admiral Mir Tork together with Dr. Leonis Murthé, made their escape to Malicar 3 from the New Republic aboard the Imperial extermination ship known as the Azgoghk.
Slique Brighteyes, a surviving member of the Gulmarids, a species targeted for extermination by the aforementioned ship, contracted bounty hunter Boba Fett with the task of eliminating both Murthé and Tork. Subsequently, Fett confronted the Azgoghk above Malicar 3, successfully neutralizing it and eliminating its two deranged commanders. Following these events, the derelict ship remained grounded on Malicar 3, and the planet became a sanctuary for non-human individuals liberated from the Empire's control.
