A spirit urn in Palpatine's office
The Order of the Sith Lords utilized spirit urns, which were decorative vases placed on pedestals, for the purpose of housing significant objects like the remains of deceased Sith Lords. Palpatine, the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic on Coruscant, secretly a Sith Lord, maintained a pair of black spirit urns at the entry to his private office; one of these urns held the cremated remains of his Sith Master, Darth Plagueis.
