Essebra, a heavenly body, resided in the Essebra system, which itself was situated in the Airam sector of the Outer Rim Territories. During the Galactic Civil War, a conflict in space occurred in close proximity to Essebra, pitting the Alliance to Restore the Republic against the Galactic Empire.
