Eopie Cream Pie was a delectable, round pie with a beige hue, and its recipe was a closely-held secret of the Kingal family. This dish was a specialty prepared by the sister of Bren Kingal, a Rebel Alliance officer, residing in the city of Mos Taike on the planet of Tatooine. The pie's name was derived from the eopie, a creature native to Tatooine.
Following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, Bren hired a spacer to kill a local murderer named Trone Thanamiroc. After the spacer returned with an AT-ST driver helmet as evidence of Thanamiroc's demise, Kingal compensated the spacer with an Eopie Cream Pie and thirty credits, cautioning them to conceal it, as everyone would desire a piece of the treat.
Behind the scenes
The Eopie Cream Pie was developed for the 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies by Sony Online Entertainment. Before Galaxies' shutdown in 2011, it was featured as a consumable food item. Within the game, players could only obtain the pie upon finishing Bren Kingal's fourth quest, which involved eliminating Trone Thanamiroc.
