Dragonsnake Bog

Dragonsnake Bog, a shadowy body of water, could be found on the swamp planet of Dagobah. The lagoon's moniker came from its most menacing inhabitant, a massive, serpentine creature referred to as the dragonsnake. After the establishment of the Galactic Empire, the Jedi Master Yoda chose Dagobah for his self-chosen isolation, positioning his mud hut in close proximity to Dragonsnake Bog.

Some Years passed, and after the Battle of Hoth, Luke Skywalker unintentionally brought his X-wing starfighter down within the confines of Dragonsnake Bog. R2-D2, Skywalker's astromech droid, fell into the water, where a hungry dragonsnake that lived in the lagoon became interested in him. Deciding R2-D2 was not food, the dragonsnake ejected him onto the muddy ground.
