Dega system
The Dega system, situated within the Elrood sector of the Outer Rim Territories, was a star system comprised of a binary star. The planet known as Dega was found within this system. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Dega system served as the location for a space battle fought between the forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire.
Behind the scenes
The game Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter featured background visuals that displayed the Dega system as having a binary sun; this occurred during the 14th rebel mission within the rebel campaign of the Balance of Power expansion, which was set in the Dega system.
