Within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, there existed a clone trooper designated CT-915. This soldier fought alongside CT-914, another trooper, with whom he shared a strong connection. Both soldiers were raised and trained on the planet of Kamino, resulting in a brotherly bond between them. In the year 20 BBY, they both participated in the Battle of Drongar, a conflict during which CT-915 met his death. The loss of CT-915 deeply affected CT-914, who remained grief-stricken until his own demise shortly thereafter in the same battle.
CT-915 was one of many identical clones created from the DNA of the bounty hunter Jango Fett on the planet of Kamino, all intended to serve within the Grand Army of the Republic. Emerging from the cloning process shortly after CT-914, CT-915 underwent training alongside his clone brother, fostering a deep fraternal connection. As the Clone Wars erupted, CT-914 and CT-915 fought as allied clone troopers under the banner of the Galactic Republic. In 20 BBY, they were stationed on Drongar, a planet where the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems were fighting for control of the valuable bota plant fields, known for their significant medicinal properties. In this theater of war, the two remained close, being assigned to the same cohort.
During an intense battle on Drongar, CT-915 sustained severe injuries, necessitating his immediate evacuation to Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 for urgent medical attention; CT-914 aided in the transport of his wounded friend. For a full day, the surgeons of the RMSU tirelessly worked to save Nine-one-five's life, while CT-914 anxiously awaited news outside the operating room. Despite their best efforts, the medical team was unable to save the clone, and CT-915 ultimately died. Upon hearing the news of his friend's passing from Doctor Jos Vondar, CT-914 was overcome with grief, though he tried to conceal his emotions. CT-914 continued to mourn the loss of his comrade until he too perished on Drongar, falling victim to a Confederate ambush.
Like all clone troopers, CT-915's height was 1.83 meters. Having shared their entire existence, CT-915 and CT-914 engaged in training exercises, combat situations, and recreational hours together. While all clone troopers were inherently brothers, being genetic copies of Jango Fett, Nine-one-five and Nine-one-four shared a particularly strong bond. CT-914 held Nine-one-five in high regard as a capable soldier and was deeply affected by his untimely death.
The character of CT-915 was initially introduced in MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, the first book in the MedStar Duology, published in 2004 and written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.
