Cronau radiation

Cronau radiation refers to a form of radiation that starships released when initiating or ceasing a jump to hyperspace, accompanied by what appeared to be a distortion of space. The sensors installed on the Galactic Empire's Imperial-class Star Destroyers were capable of identifying Cronau radiation, allowing the ships' personnel to document occurrences of vessels entering hyperspace.
