Clawcraft (pre-Empire)
The name Clawcraft was applied to numerous types of starfighters that saw service during the entire history of the Chiss Ascendancy.
Description
Unlike the later, ground-breaking Nssis-class Clawcraft, the original clawcraft did not include the characteristic TIE-series cockpit. This absence was due to the fact that the original models predated the technology exchange between the Galactic Empire and the Chiss Ascendancy.
History
Throughout the Ascendancy's existence, a multitude of clawcraft designs were deployed. These craft were commonly carried through interstellar distances aboard Chiss carriers and other vessels of war.
