Christopher Muncke
Christopher Muncke, an American actor who died on April 6, 2022, is known for his role in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope as Captain Edmos Khurgee. He portrayed the scanning crew leader and pilot in the film.
After retiring from his acting career in 1990, Muncke began working as a schoolteacher. He mentioned in an interview that his sole connection to the movie business following his retirement occurred "when I am fortunate enough to be invited to events where I can meet and chat with Fans whether they are part of what I like to call our Star Wars Fan Family."
At the age of 79, Muncke died on April 6, 2022.
