Chief sensor officer

Sensor chief, alternatively referred to as the chief sensor officer, represented a role for a sensor officer inside Galactic Empire's starfleet. The responsibility of this individual involved monitoring a starship's sensor console. Hammerly, a Senior Lieutenant, occupied this position on the Arquitens-class light cruiser called Thunder Wasp, even though Thrawn, the First Officer, temporarily fulfilled it throughout the mission to Umbara.
