Chemilizard

Chemilizards, at one time called orpali dragons, were reptilian creatures that originated on Nal Hutta. Following the Hutts' terraforming activities and the subsequent environmental contamination, these lizards underwent a transformation, gaining the ability to derive sustenance from the very chemical contaminants that would prove fatal to the vast majority of other organisms. Furthermore, they acquired a distinctive color scheme and saliva with acidic properties.

Voontara Fa'athra maintained a collection of chemilizards within the menagerie located in his palace.
