Channel 81, a channel on the HoloNet system, served as a dedicated line for diplomatic communications. This channel facilitated the exchange of messages between diplomatic outposts, embassies, governmental headquarters, and offices of the New Republic. Notably, a Yevethan pirate once hijacked the channel to transmit propaganda. This broadcast included a declaration from the Grand Imperial Union expressing their backing of the Duskhan League in their conflict with the New Republic.
