Chaff

An electro-chaff cloud Chaff, serving as a form of electronic countermeasure, provided a defense against missiles. Furthermore, it could be electrified. When deployed from electro-chaff missiles, it had the capacity to inflict damage upon, or completely neutralize, enemy starships.
