During the Clone Wars, Flynn Kybo utilized CB-3D as his astromech droid. CB-3D accompanied Kybo on a mission to Belsus with the intent of assassinating General Grievous; the droid's presence was a contingency in the event of a failure of the Trade Federation codes they intended to employ.
