Bor Ting was a male individual existing during the era of the Galactic Civil War. His occupation was that of a courier, and he performed this role on the world of Naboo. In the year 1 ABY, he received orders to travel to Dee'ja Peak to deliver a datadisc for Damalia Korde. The datadisc held within it crucial details pertaining to the Berserker Virus. An unexpected encounter with a local creature resulted in a minor wound to his leg during his journey. Consequently, Korde dispatched a spacer with instructions to locate Ting and retrieve the datadisc, ensuring its safe delivery.

Bor Ting existed as a non-player character featured in the Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided video game from 2003, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. This game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and later released to the public by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
Bor Ting's appearance was determined randomly from a pool of twelve possibilities because he used the generic "scientist" template. Among the species that Bor Ting could be were Humans, Mon Calamari, and Rodians of either gender, in addition to a male Twi'lek, and a female Zabrak. Despite the quest dialogue referring to Bor Ting as male, his definitive canonical species remains unresolved within the Star Wars Legends narrative.
