Bombardment of Verzan

During the time of the Galactic Civil War, the forces of the New Republic, specifically General Hera Syndulla's Barma Battle Group, launched a bombardment against Verzan, a garrison world without an atmosphere controlled by the Galactic Empire. This world, once a strong fortress, ultimately succumbed to the assault, as the Lodestar and proton bombs deployed by Alphabet Squadron proved too much for its defenses.
