Blazemaker

The Blazemaker was a starship under the ownership of Zander Freemaker throughout the Imperial Era. This particular vessel was a Z-wing model, and Zander held it in very high regard, viewing it as his most prized possession. Following an incident where Zander took Wick Cooper's classic N-1 starfighter on an unauthorized and destructive trip, Cooper seized the Blazemaker as both repayment for the damages and a way to get back at Zander. Unfortunately for Cooper, Zander had neglected to repair the fusion tubes, leading to a catastrophic explosion of the starship. Wick managed to eject safely but promised to bring legal action against the entire Freemakers family. As a result of this incident, Zander resolved to rectify the fusion tube problem in the subsequent model, the Blazemaker Mark II.
