Attack on Abednedo

Following the events of the Battle of Endor, the Galactic Empire launched an attack on the planet Abednedo using a climate disruption array in accordance with the directives of Operation: Cinder. Local resistance fighters, along with a New Republic special forces team, played a pivotal role in preventing the complete annihilation of the planet.

The assault had a consequence: many Abednedo citizens became strong supporters of both the New Republic and the Resistance.
