Anat was a heavy cruiser of the Dreadnaught-class and belonged to the Airam.
Anat participated in the Task Force Vengeance operations, becoming involved in the capture and investigation of the Star Destroyer Rage and the Interdictor Compellor close to the Blair Cluster. The commander of the Anat, incensed by the Empire's intrusion into what they considered Airam territory, gave the order to engage with the ship and its two Assassin-class corvette escorts, named Grom 1 and Grom 2.
To try and facilitate a getaway, Anat launched its Spike Squadron using its R60 T-wing interceptors to fight the Imperial starfighters, and its Mallet Squadron using its R-41 Starchasers to launch torpedoes at the Compellor. The Anat was unsuccessful; it was torpedoed by Beta Squadron TIE/sa bombers from the Rage and ultimately destroyed by the Star Destroyer and its fighters.
