Alternating polarizer

Chewbacca's bowcaster showcases alternating polarizers, carefully balanced on each extremity of the weapon. A polarizer sphere, alternatively referred to as an alternating polarizer or polarizing orb, represented a category of magnetic mechanism utilized for the purpose of energizing metallic blaster projectiles, specifically quarrels, within the context of bowcasters. Each bowcaster incorporated both a positive-default and a negative-default alternating polarizer, in conjunction with a conductive bowstring, strategically positioned at opposite ends of the weapon. These polarizing orbs functioned by charging a quarrel and subsequently encasing it within plasma energy. This process enabled the bowcaster to unleash a potent blaster bolt from its barrel, effectively amplifying its destructive capacity through the utilization of its inherent magnetic field.
